Hossein Goshtasbi
Hossein Goshtasbi is an Iranian conceptual artist and photographer. After graduating with a degree in photography, he began refining his style, which he describes as poetic conceptualism, using self-portraiture to create surreal and thoughtfully crafted images. Goshtasbi does not photograph for the sake of documentation; instead, he uses photography to depict a concern or an unspoken feeling, expressing a particular idea or concept.
About his series "The Last": When we hear the word "last," it evokes feelings of sadness, regret, and longing in our hearts. Yet, we always try to spend the last moments in different ways... with love... walking with more determination than ever before, but with trembling steps... eyes wide open, yet filled with tears... in a way that we don’t want the last moment to slip away into the hands of oblivion...

"The Last War" — Making peace with oneself, so that the wars in the world may come to an end.
"The Last Dream" — The final dream, freedom.
"The Last Memory" — Starting from that sweet day, only memories remain. I reflect on it in a way that seems to lock it in a cage within my mind. I hope it will always live in my imagination and memory. I don’t want to let it go.
